Raspberry-Flavoured Chocolate Brownies

Raspberry-Flavoured Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup (100 g) sugar

  • 3/4 cup (75 g) cocoa powder

  • 150 g butter, melted

  • 3 large eggs

  • 1/2 tsp (3–4 drops) INA Raspberry flavouring

  • 1 punnet fresh raspberries (about 125 g)

Ingredients & Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).

  2. Line an 8×8 inch (20×20 cm) square baking tin with baking paper.

  3. In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, and cocoa powder.

  4. In another bowl, melt butter and let it cool slightly.

  5. Beat in the eggs until smooth.

  6. Gently fold in half of the fresh raspberries.

  7. Add ½ tsp (3–4 drops) INA Raspberry flavouring to the wet mixture for a subtle, aromatic berry note.

  8. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined — do not overmix.

  9. Spoon the batter into the prepared tin.

  10. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Let cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Cut into squares. Perfect warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. 🍨
