About Perique Tobacco
Perique is one of the world’s rarest tobacco varieties, grown exclusively in St. James Parish, Louisiana, USA. Fermented under pressure in bourbon barrels, it develops an extraordinary depth of flavour — dark, earthy, fruity, and peppery — that is unlike any other tobacco. Used in tiny amounts (typically 5–10% of a blend), it adds remarkable complexity and character to premium tobacco blends.
